Class Cancelations / Snow Days
For classes that begin after 4 pm, a determination to cancel class will be made by 2 pm on that day.
Please call the Summit at 734-394-5460, check the news tab of our website, or check our Facebook page. Because we are an afternoon program, the decision to cancel does not always coincide with Plymouth/Canton School District closings.
Payment for Classes
Our bookkeeper will be at the studio the first week of each month to accept payment for classes. Please pay by check.

PAYMENT FOR SEPTEMBER AND MAY
This is due the first day of class. Because May is busy for everyone due to recital, we hope
to make things easier with this measure. This May payment is nonrefundable if a student drops out.
Recital costume deposits are due the week of November 5th – 10th, 2018. A $5 late fee will be charged for each deposit not received during this week. We must order costumes early, as it takes 15-18 weeks for delivery.
Ballet Classes: Shoes of any color or type may be worn for classes. For recital, pink or sprayed tan shoes are required depending on the costume.
Tap Classes: Shoes of any color or type may be worn for classes. ALL students will wear tan Mary-Jane style tap shoes for Recital.
Jazz / Lyrical Classes: For class, tan split sole jazz shoes are acceptable. Recital shoes will be determined at a later time depending on the costume.
Used shoes: We encourage buying and selling used dance shoes to save everyone money. If interested, please see bulletin board.
*Please put your child’s name in ALL dance shoes and check with your instructor if you have any questions about the fit or type of shoe to wear.*
Leotards: If your child needs a new leotard, we encourage you to purchase black camisole or long-sleeved leotards. The dark colored leotards allow the teacher to easily identify body placement and alignment, and provide us with a common costume base. Students should plan on not wearing any type
of cover-up in ballet class.
Lost and Found
Our lost and found bin is kept in the hallway. We will keep items for six weeks, then take what is not claimed to the Salvation Army. If your child’s name is in their dance shoes, please check with their teacher to see if they have been held for you if they were left at the studio.
